Mikhail Rotkin, Deputy General Director of Jetour Motor Rus, told reporters about this at an event held in Moscow dedicated to the official launch of the Jetour brand in the Russian Federation.
According to him, already in the third quarter of this year, the X70Plus compact crossover will enter the Russian market, which will occupy a niche in the Jetour model line between the Dashing urban SUV and the X90Plus mid-size crossover.
At the beginning of 2024, the Jetour T2 SUV will reach Russia; More exact dates for the debut of the model in our market have not yet been officially announced.
Mikhail Rotkin also spoke about Jetour’s immediate plans for business development in Russia. In particular, during this year, according to him, the brand’s management intends to sell about 15,000 cars on our market.
Expansion of the Russian Jetour dealer network is also planned for the current year: by the end of the year it will include 100 branded auto centers. There are currently 74 Jetour dealers in Russia; 11 of them – in Moscow, 7 in St. Petersburg, 20 – in cities with a population of over 1 million people, another 36 – in cities with a population of less than 1 million people.
According to M. Rotkin, Jetour intends to pay special attention to supporting customers and dealers in the field of after-sales car service. In particular, the company plans to open five regional non-stop spare parts warehouses in the Russian Federation in the near future. They will work in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Togliatti and Novosibirsk.
Vehicles and spare parts will be delivered to the Russian Federation by all means available to the company: by sea and rail transport, as well as using multimodal routes. A warehouse for storing cars is planned to be opened in the Urals Federal District.
In 2023, the first 500 Jetour buyers will receive 4 free oil and oil filter changes and 2 free stud fittings as a gift.
