The updated Picanto differs from the “pre-reform” model, first of all, in a completely redesigned front end with a signature Tiger Nose grille.
The bumpers, fenders and hood have also undergone changes; rear updated tailgate and optics.
The Picanto 2023 model year will also be available in the new GT Line version, which differs from the standard sports accents in the exterior and interior trim.
The engines on the Picanto remained the same: these are gasoline “aspirated” engines with a working volume of 1.0 and 1.2 liters with a capacity of 67 and 84 hp, respectively.
Both motors will work in combination with a 5-speed manual transmission or AMT “robot” with one clutch.
In the interior of the Picanto, there were no cardinal changes during the restyling. The main novelties are an upgraded multimedia system with an 8.0-inch display and a fully digital instrument panel available for cars in higher trim levels.
At home in South Korea, as well as in Europe, the updated Kia Picanto will go on sale before the end of this year. We can only rely on parallel imports.
