The Motorinvest company will start assembling three new models at a plant in the Lipetsk region, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
The first novelty of the Evolute brand in 2023 will be the i-Jet coupe crossover (in the title photo), that is, a copy of the Chinese electric car DFSK Seres 5. In terms of dimensions (4700 x 1930 x 1630 mm; wheelbase – 2875 mm), the car is identical to the Audi Q5 and BMW x3.
Technically, the i-Jet will be superior to other Evolutes: the combined output of the two electric motors (one on each axle) is 475 kW (646 hp) and 940 Nm, which allows a car weighing 2375 kg (without driver) to accelerate to ” hundreds” in 3.9 s.
Top speed is limited to 200 km/h. The 90 kWh lithium-ion traction battery provides a range of 490 km (according to the Chinese CLTC cycle).
The car will enter the Russian market at the end of the first – the beginning of the second quarter of 2023, company representatives specified.
Salon Evolute i-Jet
Around the same time, the i-Van electric minivan also debuted, although in the fall there was information that Motorinvest refused to localize the single-cab vehicle (the car is still not on the official website).
The Evolute i-Van is a seamless copy of the Dongfeng LingZhi M5 EV, whose bodywork is already outdated: the sidewalls give out the connection of the model with the 1994 Mitsubishi Delica. An electric motor with a power of 90 kW (122 hp) and 300 Nm of torque is put on the model, which allows you to dial 100 km / h in 18 seconds (but further acceleration is impossible). It was originally planned to equip minivans with the same 53 kWh battery as the compact i-Pro and i-Joy models, however, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports that the battery capacity of commercial vehicles will already be 59 kWh, and the declared range ( according to the outdated NEDC cycle) will be 410 km instead of 400.
Evolute i Van
The third model does not yet have a final name – it is simply called SUV C +. Judging by the letter, the model will take place between i-Joy and i-Jet, but there are no other details yet. But the wait is not long: the model will appear in Russia until mid-2023.
