The new Lada Vesta Sport can become a station wagon, and Granta Sport can become a liftback

The main novelty of the Lada brand at the festival, according to the press service of the Togliatti auto giant, will be the new generation Vesta Sport.

For the first time in the history of the model, the sports modification of Vesta will receive a station wagon body.
Any details about the technical “stuffing” of the new Vesta Sport have not yet been officially disclosed.
The pilot of the new Vesta Sport SW within the framework of the current “Baikal Mile” will be the racer of the Lada factory team Vladimir Sheshenin, who will try to set the speed record of the festival at the wheel of the novelty.
AvtoVAZ will also present a new version of the Lada Granta Sport model at the Baikal Mile – the car will receive a liftback body for the first time.
Outwardly, the car will differ from the serial “Grants” in sports elements of decor, in the technical part, the creators of the novelty promise a more powerful engine with sports calibrations, as well as a stiffer and short-travel suspension designed to improve the car’s handling.
At present, as the press service of AvtoVAZ clarifies, the Granta Sport in the liftback body is undergoing sea trials.
The Baikal Mile Festival is taking place this year from 7 to 11 March.
