The starting price of the new Sportage, judging by the price list published on the official website of Kia in Russia, is 2,849,900 rubles.
For the specified amount, the buyer will be offered a front-wheel drive car with a 2.0 MPI gasoline naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 150 hp. and manual transmission.
The basic Classic package includes LED daytime running lights, 6 airbags, a set of active safety systems, including ABS, ESC, hill descent and hill start assist systems, trailer stability control, front and rear electric windows, cruise control, electric drive and heated mirrors, heated front seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, an 8-inch multimedia system with 6 speakers, Drive Mode Select.
The front-wheel drive Sportage 2.0 with an “automatic” in almost the same configuration (with a climate control system instead of a simple air conditioner) costs 100 thousand rubles more than the base one.
Prices for all-wheel drive cars start at 3,069,900 rubles – this is the amount estimated at a 2.0-liter crossover with “mechanics” performed by Comfort. Cars with all-wheel drive and “automatic” with the same engine and in the same configuration are available at a price of 3,129,900 rubles.
The new Sportage is also available with a more powerful 2.5 GDI engine developing 190 hp. Such a motor is aggregated by default with an automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system; prices for 2.5-liter versions start at 3,464,900 rubles for a Luxe car.
The most “fancy” Sportage is priced at 4,039,900 rubles – this amount will have to be paid for a car with a 2.5 GDI engine in the top-end X-Line + configuration.
All prices indicated, as specified by the manufacturer, are valid from July 15 to July 31, 2022.
The new Kia Sportage, as reported by Dvizhok, got on the conveyor of the Kaliningrad enterprise Avtotor on February 21 this year. However, then the production of Hyundai-Kia cars at the plant had to be suspended due to the fact that due to political and logistical problems, after February 24, a batch of car kits and components “hung” on the way. Now the necessary components have nevertheless “arrived” to Avtotor, but in what volumes the plant will be able to produce cars is still unclear.
