September 14 at the Detroit Auto Show will premiere the seventh generation of one of the most famous muscle cars in history. The new generation of Ford Mustang will continue to be equipped with the “eight” and manual transmission.

A teaser for the new Mustang has been posted on social media by Ford. There is not much information yet, but in a short video there is a hint of a six-speed “mechanics” and the sound of a V8 engine is heard.
Recently, Ford has refused to supply cars with a 2.3 Ecoboost engine to European countries: now, even in Western Europe, the Mustang is offered exclusively in GT and Mach 1 versions with a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated G8. True, slightly derated (460 hp, 529 Nm).
Photographers from Auto Express have already captured pre-production cars as part of sea trials near the Ford plant in Michigan, but there are no images yet without camouflage.
Judging by the available photos, the proportions of the muscle car will hardly change. The assembly line for the assembly of the sixth Mustangs has not been stopped so far, which means that radical reforms in the technical part should not be expected. Apparently, instead of “mechanics”, a ten-speed “automatic” will continue to be offered as an option.

The seventh generation Ford Mustang will be shown to the public at the Detroit Auto Show on September 14, that is, almost ten years after the premiere of the current Mustang, which has experienced only one update in all this time (in 2017, a digital “tidy” appeared, and the “eight” received combined injection).
