According to the press service of AvtoVAZ, the starting price for a Granta in the Classic’22 configuration with a driver’s airbag (since June, cars have been sold without airbags at all, and air conditioning returned to the list of optional equipment at the end of July) is 753,500 rubles, excluding state programs.
For comparison, a “naked” car in the Classic’22 version is available for 678,300 rubles according to the price list, that is, the driver’s airbag at once increased the initial price by 75.2 thousand rubles! However, air conditioning in such machines is also installed by default.
Vazovtsy specify that in more expensive trim levels, cars are also equipped with an airbag for the front passenger, as well as belt pretensioners, and their design is “similar to those used on the Lada Granta earlier.” At the same time, it is not specified whether the function of automatically calling the operator by the ERA-GLONASS system in the event of an accident will be available.
