According to representatives of AvtoVAZ, “the air conditioning system allows you to create a comfortable microclimate in the car in hot weather, and prevents the windows from fogging up during rainy periods.”
According to the company, more than 60% of Legend buyers and more than 80% of Travel buyers choose an air-conditioned package.
Heated front seats for Niva Legend will be available in Luxe’22, Black’22 and Urban’22 trim levels, the price list for which has not yet been made public.
Apparently, air conditioning for Luxe’22, as well as for pre-crisis cars of the last model year, will be offered as an option for 34 thousand rubles. In other versions (of course, not counting the basic Classic’22) air conditioning is included in the basic equipment.
Niva Travel will be equipped with air conditioning and heated front seats in Urban’22, Black’22 and Luxe’22 trim levels. The index “22” in the name means, we recall, a simplified configuration, formed in the conditions of the refusal of a number of foreign companies to supply technologies to AvtoVAZ.
Such SUVs still do not have airbags (although they have already appeared on the Grant) and an anti-lock braking system (AvtoVAZ hopes to replace it only in the first half of 2023), and the engine is certified according to the Euro-2 environmental standard. Now Niva Legend in the basic Classic’22 package costs 808,900 rubles without options, and Niva Travel costs 998,900 rubles.
