Dmitry Pronin, General Director of the enterprise, spoke about this in an interview with the RIA Novosti agency.
According to him, the novelty will go on sale in the Russian market in early autumn.
“Recently, we showed what the first sedan in our lineup, Moskvich 6, will look like. We will start producing it in July-August of this year, and we plan to start sales in September,” said the general director of Moskvich.
According to Dmitry Pronin, the plant is also preparing another novelty for this year: a mid-size crossover.
“I think that in some foreseeable future we will show how another model will look like,” said the general director of the capital’s automobile plant.
At present, we recall, the Moskvich plant produces the Moskvich 3 crossover (at a price of 1.97 million rubles) and its electric version Moskvich 3e (from 3.5 million rubles).
The revived brand entered the Russian market in January; today they are available at Moskvich dealerships located in 25 Russian cities.
