The premiere of the car for the Chinese market (where it bears the name Tiggo 8 Plus Kunpeng e +) took place at the Chengdu Auto Show in 2021. Like the recently introduced Tiggo 8 Pro Max, the car is equipped with an all-wheel drive system with a clutch on the rear axle.
The main difference from the “Promax” is in the hybrid power plant, consisting of a petrol “turboservice” 1.5 SQRE4T15C (156 hp, 230 Nm) and two electric motors with a capacity of 125 kW each.
A 19.27 kWh traction battery is installed under the floor, which provides up to 100 km of range in all-electric mode.
Chery’s own DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission) transmission has nine modes of operation and can use electric motors separately from the internal combustion engine. Depending on the speed intervals (0-20, 20-100 and 100+ km / h), various ratios of the joint work of all three crossover engines are provided.
The peak power of the installation is 326 liters. With. and 565 Nm allows the Tiggo 8 Pro e + to accelerate to 100 km / h in 7 seconds, while the declared fuel consumption in the combined cycle is only 1 l / 100 km.
Brazil will be the first foreign market for the model, and in 2023 the hybrid Tiggo 8 Pro e + will reach Russian Chery dealers. In China, prices for a car in the basic five-seater Urban configuration start at 155.8 thousand yuan (1.35 million rubles), and the three-row top version of Comfort is estimated at 171.8 thousand yuan (1.49 million rubles).
