The Tank 300 has independent front suspension and a solid rear axle, an all-wheel drive transmission with a hard-locking front axle coupling, a reduction gear and locking front (Premium only) and rear differentials. At the same time, the clearance is higher than that of the Khavale: 224 mm versus 206. Tank 300 is designed for fords up to 700 mm deep, the maximum entry angle is 34 degrees, and the exit angle is 33 degrees. The SUV is standardly equipped with 17-inch wheels with tires in the dimension 265/65.
Under the hood is the same 2.0-litre direct-injection petrol turbo engine found in the H9, tuned for 220 hp. With. and 380 Nm, that is, the Tank 300 is more powerful by exactly two horsepower. The engine is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The claimed acceleration time to “hundreds” is 10.6 s, although the Chinese versions (227 hp, 387 Nm) are more than a second faster. Maximum speed – 175 km / h. Interestingly, the gasoline Haval H9, although heavier (2432 kg versus 2230), has slightly higher dynamic performance. But the “three hundred” is more economical: the declared consumption of gasoline (it is allowed to fill in AI-92) in the combined cycle is 10.6 l / 100 km (it is allowed to fill in AI-92).
The list of standard equipment includes a surround view system with a “transparent hood” function, dual-zone climate control, electrically heated windshield and washer nozzles, adaptive LED optics, adaptive cruise control with lane keep function, a multimedia system touchscreen and a “tidy” screen with a diagonal 12.3 inches each, sunroof, side steps and roof rails, and a set of off-road assistants.
At launch, the Tank 300 is available in two trim levels. The initial Adventure (from 3,699,000 rubles) will offer leatherette seat upholstery, atmospheric lighting with seven colors to choose from and electric driver’s seat in six directions. In the Premium version (from 4,049,000 rubles), there will be seats upholstered in genuine leather (front – with ventilation; driver’s – with eight-band electrical adjustment), front differential lock, interior lighting with 64 colors, six airbags (curtains will be added), a more technologically advanced audio system , tinted rear windows, a 220-volt outlet in the trunk and a picnic table. For comparison, prices for the larger Haval H9 start at 4.1 million rubles, while the top Premium package is available for 4.3 million rubles.
At first, pre-orders for the Tank 300 will only be accepted online, the vehicles will be delivered directly from China. The company plans to form a dealer network of the new brand by spring, when the official start of sales will be announced. And the next Russian novelty will be the Tank 500 premium SUV.
