So, the basic Voyah Passion costs 8,290,000 rubles. This is the most dynamic “Chinese” in our market: thanks to two electric motors with a total peak output of 375 kW (510 hp) and 730 Nm, passport acceleration to “hundreds” takes 3.8 seconds. However, the traction battery with a capacity of 82.1 kWh can only cover 483 km in the WLTP cycle.
The “long-range” modification Passion Long Range is equipped with the same battery as the Dream EV minivan. Its capacity of 108.7 kWh will allow you to drive 608 km without recharging, however, due to other settings of the power plant and a slightly increased mass (from 2266 to 2286 kg), the acceleration time to 100 km/h has increased to 4.2 s, and the speed limiter is set not at 210, but at 205 km / h. However, this version is still noticeably more expensive: 9,690,000 rubles.
An increase of 1.4 million rubles is due not only to an increased power reserve, but also to two premium options: artificial suede headlining instead of fabric and matrix headlights instead of LEDs. No other differences were found in the price list.
Voyah Passion is not only the fastest, but also the largest Chinese “four-door” in Russia: the dimensions of the model (5088 x 1970 x 1505 mm; wheelbase – 3000 mm) are identical to the short-wheelbase flagships of the big German three. The volume of the rear trunk is 410 liters, the front – 53 liters.
At the same time, the drag coefficient Cd is 0.225: among the cars officially delivered to us, only Mercedes-Benz A- and S-class sedans are better in this indicator (0.22 each). A lift spoiler is installed on the trunk lid, capable of generating downforce of up to 40 kg.
Like other Voyah models, Passion is built on the ESSA platform with double wishbones at the front and multi-link at the rear. Regularly installed air struts and adaptive dampers, as well as 20-inch alloy wheels.
There are four displays on the front panel at once: three 12.3-inch ones (a digital instrument cluster, a multimedia system touchscreen and a separate display for the front passenger) and one smaller one – the four-zone climate control is “wired” into it. Another touch screen is mounted in the central armrest of the sofa, from which second-row passengers can adjust the temperature, direction and intensity of airflow.
The sedans are equipped with adaptive cruise control with lane keeping function (it works based on a dozen cameras, the same number of ultrasonic radars, five millimeter radars and two navigation units), PM 2.5 air purification and fine particle filtering, keyless entry system, head-up display with augmented reality, a 5G router, six airbags, a two-section panoramic roof with an electronically controlled curtain. All seats have a wide range of electric adjustments (driver’s in 12 directions, front passenger – in eight), heating, ventilation and massage (front and rear right – with memory function), rear windows are tinted. The model will be available in four body colors (white, blue, gold and orange) and two trim options (black with gray or gray with blue).
Russian Voyah dealers will have Passion sedans in the summer. For those who want to buy the most “long-range” version of the sedan, we recommend waiting for the hybrid modification with a gasoline generator to recharge the battery, which Motorinvest announced earlier. For example, the Dream hybrid minivan is already capable of driving 750 km in the WLTP cycle, and costs 700 thousand rubles cheaper than the fully electric version, although it is slightly inferior to it in terms of acceleration dynamics.
