The test program, according to the press service of the Russian representative office of the company, was developed by Chery specialists together with experts from FSUE NAMI.
In particular, it includes at least 30,000 km of run on suburban roads with asphalt and unpaved surfaces, city and rural streets. The car, as noted in Chery, is tested at different temperatures, as well as in different speed modes with different loads.
As part of the tests, experts check the operation of the power plant starting system, charging speed at low temperatures, the tightness of the vehicle as a whole and the components of the hybrid installation, measure fuel consumption with and without the recovery system turned on, the reliability of active safety systems, etc.
Particular attention is paid to the efficiency of battery charging from charging stations both outdoors and indoors, as well as from portable chargers.
Tests, as the press service of Chery clarifies, are currently 85% completed. The Russian premiere of the new Tiggo 8 Pro e + will take place before the end of spring this year.
