American couple Kelsey Nolan and Shane Camp have long dreamed of taking a trip to the United States of America (USA), during which they planned to visit each of the 50 states, but they did not have the right car for this. Therefore, they decided to build such a car on their own.
In just 43 days, they turned their Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD pickup truck into a real camper, namely, they built a house in its back, which they called the “Love Cabin”.
It is worth noting that the house fully justifies its name, as its interior really resembles a village hut.
However, this is not surprising, since the house was built from the cheapest materials, as a result of which its construction cost only 4,000 US dollars.
However, despite the fact that the house looks a little ridiculous, and its living area is 8 m², it has everything you need.
The house has a spacious seating area, a cozy bedroom and even a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with countertops, cupboards, 2-burner stove and sink.
There is also a toilet in the house, but, unfortunately, there is no bath, but there is an outdoor shower. The shower is connected to a water tank located inside the house.
It is noteworthy that although the house does not look high-tech, it is equipped with solar panels. So it also has electricity.
So, while some, lying on the couch, dream of a rich and well-fed life, others are content with little and, without despondency, enjoy the life as it is.
Kelsey Nolan and Shane Camp plan to visit all 50 US states within a year.
